Low-tide hike at Point Reyes

The Unknown Coast hike is a 3.5 mile stretch of beach in Point Reyes between the McClures Beach Trailhead and the Kehoe Beach Trailhead.  It is accessible only a few days in the year during negative tide conditions.  The rest of the year, the area is submerged in several feet of water.  It is a unique adventure hike across sandy beaches, rocky beaches, cold waist-deep water, and tide pools.  Wildlife is abundant and includes different kinds of shorebirds and marine life.  Enjoy!
